What is it about waterfalls? They are just so dreamy. And what makes them dreamier but a long exposure?

So we were driving along in the Pacific Northwest in Olympic National Park. Headed north to try to find just the perfect beach but sometimes you need to stop randomly along the side of the road when you come along an unexpected waterfall.  So we popped out of the car and down the hill to take in this waterfall. Since this was an unscheduled stop, I didn’t have my tripod with me at this moment so I was quite happy that I was able to get a nice long exposure hand held.
